To Our Donors and Supporters:

We are sad to announce that as of April 6, 2023 the Pilchuck Foundation has ceased operations.  We thank our donors and supporters who have given generously since 2011 to help strengthen public safety in the greater Granite Falls community.

Thanks to you, our fire district has offered three sessions to train community volunteers to be Certified Emergency Response Team members.  Thanks to you, our police department has supplied free child ID cards to parents (and will continue to do so.)  Other grants to our police included AEDs for the patrol cars, a protective ballistic shield, modern fingerprinting kits, a field laptop, biometric fingerprint scanner, ongoing supplies for the child ID maker, rental for a thermal imager, and MUCH more.   Thanks to you, we have given thousands of dollars in scholarships to graduating Granite Falls High School seniors, with preference to those pursuing careers in public safety.

It has been our honor to support the Granite Falls Fire District and the Granite Falls Police Department.  We invite you to continue your financial and volunteer support in the following ways:

Make your earmarked financial contributions to the Granite Falls Community Coalition for the police department, fire district, Certified Emergency Response Team program, and the fire district’s volunteer Support 87 program. You can also donate DIRECTLY to the Granite Falls Police Department, support87@gffd17.org and/or the CERT program through the Granite Falls Fire District.

Please note:  Our decision to dissolve the Pilchuck Foundation was not made lightly.  COVID deeply affected our fundraising efforts for the past two years.

Our decision had nothing to do with the current national climate around law enforcement.  Here in Granite Falls, our community is blessed to be protected by the men and women of the Granite Falls Police Department who serve with integrity and honor.
